Amperometric measurement of free chlorine

The Stérpro automated system conserves a minimum level of free chlorine by direct control of a salt electrolyser.
This combination prevents excess or insufficient treatment and ensures constant water quality.

The Stérpro is equipped with direct connections to the electrolyser (no actions needed in the unit).
When the set point is reached, electrolyser production is shut down (0%) but the unit remains on standby and a message is displayed to inform the end user that production has stopped.
This specific measurement of free chlorine maintains a fixed chlorine level in the presence of pH regulator and therefore constant water quality.

Overdose safety:

In case of overdose, a built-in safety mechanism uses an alarm lamp.

Temperature measurement:

Electrolysis is stopped when the pool temperature drops below 15°C.
The appliance starts up again when the temperature rises.

Low product level sensor:

If the pH set point is not reached in a specified time, the system puts itself into Standby safety mode.

Diagnostics:

To inform the user whenever necessary, a diagnostic code automatically appears on the appliance screen.
Each code refers to an explanation in a table incorporated in the user manual. The explanations enable users and technicians to understand and resolve issues, even remotely.
